Verizon x NBA VR Free Throw Challenge
Verizon asked us to come up with an activation centered around the NBA Finals that would entice basketball fans to come in-store and participate.
We came up with Verizon x NBA VR Free Throw Challenge. Fans came in and used the Samsung Gear VR to make as many free throws as possible in 24 seconds.
The soft launch was in nine cities and was ultimately a success, because now, Verizon is moving forward to use the experience to help promote their sponsorship with Men's Team USA Basketball in their quest for the gold medal at the games in Rio. The activation is national and is featured in over 1100 stores in the United States.

Verizon x 2016 Essence Festival
Verizon asked us to highlight the Verizon Innovative Learning Program during the 2016 Essence Music Festival. The Verizon Innovative Learning brings technology and hands-on learning opportunities to kids in underserved schools and communities.
We came up with #VerizonInspires activation inside the convention center. The activation was the only one dedicated to inspiring the leaders of today and tomorrow by powering creativity in their communities.
The activation leveraged entertainment, technology, music and celebrities but the most unique thing was the photo booth. Festival goers took a photo but also were allowed to give a quote to help inspire tomorrow's creators, which turned their photo into a print ad that lived throughout the Essence Festival and on digital billboards in the New Orleans area.

Verizon x Pittsburgh Penguins
Verizon asked us to create an immersive experience that would excite hockey fans at the Consol Arena, and ultimately yield more traffic to Verizon’s footprint inside.
In response, we created an experiential celebration of something the brand embodies – speed. The Verizon Slapshot Challenge is an experience where fans can measure how fast they can hit a puck into the back of the net. Each session gets recorded and automatically generates shareable social content for fans to flood their social media channels with. In a span of only 10 home games, over 800 fans have tried the challenge and uploaded their GIFs to Twitter and Facebook.
But that's not all. Fans also got the chance to play with the first Digital Air Hockey Table in a hockey arena in the East Coast.

Verizon x Staples Center Swish Zone
Verizon asked us to create an immersive experience that would excite people at the Staples Center and also be turnkey for basketball games, hockey games and concerts.
We created three experiences in one — The Swish Zone Challenge, The Slapshot Challenge and the Verizon Showcase.
The Swish Zone was a free throw contest in which fans had 24 seconds to make as many free throws as possible to win prizes. The Slapshot Challenge allowed fans to measure their slapshot speed for bragging rights and prizes. The Verizon Showcase allowed fans to sing their hearts out to their favorite songs. Each experience allowed for people to share their pic or gif on social media to let their followers know about the great time they were having thanks to Verizon.
Overall, the activation was a success. No matter the event there were always lines of people waiting to participate.

Hola Mama
With a very small budget and a one month turnaround, Verizon tasked us with creating an activation at the People en Español Festival in New York City. The festival is attended by about 20,000 people at the end of Hispanic Heritage month every year. With that in mind, we came up with the “Hola Mama” concept. The activation allowed festival attendees to call back to their homelands for free thanks to Verizon. While attendees were calling home, an interactive map displayed which countries were being called and was projected throughout the screens in our activation. Over 1,500 calls were placed and plenty of Verizon customers left with a smile in their face.
